Kent had a good day at the plate. He cracked a two-run shot in the 4th inning and blasted a two-run home run (his 22nd of the season) in the 5th inning. Dublin had only 6 hits for the game. The win went to Carlos Zambrano(10-10) who allowed no runs in 7 innings. Randy Johnson(17-6) took the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 5 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings. 'Ahhh, that victory was surely needed. Man alive, things were getting awfully grim,' noted Adam Smith. 'Now, we need to string a bunch of wins together and turn things around!'
